I love the care you took to render the slight curve of the adams apple, I really dont see that much in drawings anymore.. I think people leave it out because they just like smooth necks -_-() Anywho, Lovely shading, the way the light plays across his skin seems so very soft, very natural. His eyes contrast the rougher shading on the skin, seeing as they come off as wonderously glossy and bright. My one complaint is that his hair seems so harsh in comparison to the over all smooth tone of this picture...

hahahI LOVE adams apples, they give sucha strange feel of fragility. Of course if the neck is beautiful and Hyde's is indeed. Gives an adge to it. Wanna touch^^~
yeah hair is a bit of a mess.. *my bad*
And I worked hard on the eyes togive them the melanchily feel above slightly evil looks.

You can tell you really worked on this, the texture of the skin, everything. The eyes stand out because one can tell that you busted your arse to get them perfect, I think thats why they are mentioned so often ^^ The hair isnt terrible, Only a bit stiff, which upon looking at your other peices was simply something to happen only once, so I wouldnt worry ja?

I couldnt see his hair in the reference, and hair is a trcky thing to do without ref, you never know how the light wold play in them.

haha, yeah, his face is rather assimetric, and he has those lil things, like crooked teeth and sleepy eye, but it just adds to him. ne..
Like GAckt is so perfect it gets a tad boring, helooks like a doll. I [refer him with no makeup and some litle things like lines visible or when you se his not airbrushed made up. It gives him new charm,a level of humanity and reality, much more attractive IMHO, then a plastic doll face.

I was always one to be drawn to the more realistic, the more 'human' aspect of people then the perfection of airbrushed, photoshopped or fake beauty. Humans are gritty, damaged things and its just so strange to find someone without that aspect. Its more of an unnerving experiance then an alluring one

I just think the real him is so much better than the manipulated one, in the end of the day he is what he is and I think he should treat his beauty with respect^^~
not menaing he shodul make deliberately ugly pix, oh camera can be cruel, I know by myself. But just ... yeah.. shed the silly vampire mask fromtime to time, ne^^~
I like how Hyde likes to tease his fans, you can see even the younger pix of him whenre they made todeliberately stress the roughness of himsometimes, even stubbled ones and stuff^^~
And next mag woudl show him as lovely princess.. abeit usually you can see he is't overlymade up. Buthis made up pix are also nice, because there is such veriety, he just treats his face with good humor

Yes, deliberatly ugly shots would be somewhat of an odd way to show ones beauty... although it would be very interesting as to how bad a camera could make one such as him look
