This really shows how much of a psychotic, demented girl Amy is. Love it! People don't really delve into her "true" character too much and try to paint her as sweet and caring.

This picture is both sad, and kind of cute... but more sad for me. It's like this is as close as Amy can get to being with Sonic, when she knows it probably won't happen for real...
Also, Shadow was there.
I really like the warmth of this picture. It looks cozy, but also seems kinda lonely, too, when you think about how all those Sonic's are just... stuffed.

I adore this picture. There's something very cute and sad about Amy absorbed in a room full of Sonic plushes. Her expression tells me that this is what she will have to be satisfied with in her unrequited love. Shadow's inclusion adds to the cameo. It looks like he's wondering why there's only one of his plushes present when it should be a top-seller.
Your technique is gorgeous. It must have been tricky drawing all those plushes in a pile, but they're all fully distinguishable and consistent. The background is uncomplicated, but the soft, warm lighting compensates for that to add a cosy atmosphere to the room. Nice choice of texture too. I really have no problems with this pic; it's going without question on my faves list.

I just took it as Amy realizing no fake Sonic can ever replace or fill the void that is the real Sonic. Never any real implication of anything happening to Sonic to me.

I'm going to haphazard a guess that something terrible happened to Sonic (missing/ horribly injured/ dead, hence Amy's tears while hugging her Sonic plushy) and that this is Amy's room (hence all the pink, hearts and Sonic plushies ---it's AMY, guys). And Shadow ---Shadow could simply be there because Amy shouldn't be alone in her state, or because they're both worried about/ mourning their mutual friend (even if Shadow won't admit it in his case).
Loved the use of colours, their expressions and the concept. Very melancholic, powerful and evocative.
