You have no idea how happy I am that he stands
I was worried those chicken legs of his wouldn't be able to support the weight of his body. His legs were a pain to work on but I'm very satisfied with how his feet turned out 
(And that is a giant box of stuffing in the background

What size yarn/hook do you use for this?? Do you use anything to make him stand up, like wire?

I use worsted weight yarn and a size F hook. Β He does, indeed, have wire inside for stability. Β I'm glad you like my work!

Yeah, I bet! I love it when I find them on the shelves (though they often get sold out before I can grab one at a craft place). I have to often stick with the 50 oz. bags, which do all right as long as I stick with tiny things for a while. xD

Oh gosh, yes, it takes a while to get through a box like that. I'm hoping to get a couple of them soon, so I don't have to worry about it for a verrrrrry long time. Because I seem to go through the 50 oz ones in just a few weeks, and within a month or less if I'm making a lot of large items. D:

I thought maybe you put wires in the legs to stiffen them. That's pretty amazing that you could make it stand without support. That is really amazing! I can't wait to see his face.
