Huge spoilers ahead (and in image) for PW3 and AJ.

I beat "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney" earlier today, and felt like doing some quick fan-art (and this somehow came to mind). AJ is probably my least favorite of the AA series, but still awesome.

What happened to Iris in the seven-year time span? This is the only explanation I could come up with. I still say she and Phoenix are soul mates. She'll be back next game, hopefully

I guess Iris went crying to her step-sister Pearls, who then told Mystic Maya, who then stopped visiting Phoenix for being so mean to her older cousin. Which explains their absences in AJ, too.

It's a shame that so few characters from the PW arc got to cameo in AJ... And just for the record, I'm going to guess that Miles and Franz are probably overseas again, Gumshoe is too rich and famous from his Blue Badger franchise to do detective work, Larry is chasing another girl (or two, or seven) halfway around the world, and most everyone else either dead, in prison, or staying away from Phoenix to avoid becoming dead or arrested

Trucy may very well be my new favorite AA character, up there with Maya and Iris. Also, I was hoping she was somehow the daughter of Phoenix and Iris (since she looks quite a bit like Pearls), but the age discrepancy clued me that she was probably adopted, which was later confirmed in the game.

EDIT: In case of confusion, that's actually Iris in the comic and not Dahlia; Phoenix is just calling her "Dollie" because of the nicknames they called each other back then.
