1. The first thing that comes to my mind when I thing of a Cosmic Corsair is a Pirate that fights against some evil galatic empire or reign that forces people in different planets to live under slavery. So she is no just an outlaw but also a freedom fighter.

2. The first thing I focus on when creating an original character is personality and purpose, cause those two elements will define the character's main features like the expression and pose. Also those elements influence on the clothing and props.

3. Yes, I do believe what I feel is my greatest strength when designing characters, cause a good character must show a bit of the artist emotions.
