Yeah, and it's faster than ever, too. Kinda' gorgeous. Do you like the new monochrome taskbar icons, by the way? I'm kinda afraid to see how I'll react to a drawer as opposed to an arrow for my taskbar expansion. I assume I can switch it back, though. >>

But yeah, great job. Very purdy.

Thank you! Yeah its faster than ever. I experience some problems with performance when blur is enabled but disabling it fixes everything. I expect no problems with next catalyst driver. About icons ... well they are nice except that they reminds me to Win 7

Yeah, that kind bugged me. :\ I mean, it starts with Elmentary, OS X, then spreads to Windows 7 and all the way back to KDE. I think colors and definition in my icons are GOOD things. Oh well, I guess I'll see how I fare with it come October. Also, I don't really care about blurs. They seem utterly purposeless unless it's like Windows Aero and you'd get a bunch of overlapping text without it on window titles.

Still, I guess it looks cool to some people. Variable transparency and SVGs are good enough for me, but I definitely think the capability should be there. Is it turned on by default?

Ah, I noticed that as I have NVidia (for optimum Wine performance, mostly, and pretty good Linux support overall), it seems the open drivers for ATi's 3D tend to react a bit friendlier in many aspects. I hope they update the driver to better cooperate with KDE- it isn't bad, of course. Just a bit of a noticeable lag in some specific areas, although my hardware's outrageously overpowered. (got a sick desktop for less than 200 dollars, couldn't pass it up for playing Smash Bros on Kubuntu).

I noticed when testing Maverick, however, that NVidia cards seem to have support out of the box. Either they've really upped the ante on their non-compositing Kwin's effects, or Nouveau is included and making good progress! Either way, it looks like hardware support's ends are being wrapped up quite speedily. We have it all, man. XD For free(dom).

That is a seriously nice setup... using an invisible plasma theme?

No, its not invisible. The plasma theme is Tibanna. The launchers you see at the left and right are daisy plasmoid with transparent background. Also, there is a plasma panel but on autohide.
