You know what's nice about a semi-quiet day without internet, but with preperation the day before? You can easily work on sprites. That's why I made two (this one and an easier one ). I'll upload Taiyang today and the other one tomorrow. Surprises!!

Taiyang Xiao Long, father of both Yang and Ruby, former husband of both Raven Branwen and Summer Rose. He was part of team STRQ back when he was younger and is currently taking care of his oldest daughter, trying to get her back on her feet. And of course he takes care of Zwei, the cute family dog. He's a kickboxer with tremendous strength, being able to withstand blows from Yang's robo arm with relative ease. He's witty (calling Yang's semblance a tamper tantrum), brash, but incredibly caring and a great father.

I tried making my sprite look like he is combat ready. I've tried that multiple times, but since Fire Emblem fighters use weapons, finding the right fists can be tough. I remodeled the hands myself!
The RWBY wiki claims Taiyang and Yang share a color palette, but I didn't find any color similarities. I've tried it and ended up using Yang's boot color for Taiyang's brace. I just now realize I forgot to add the little spike of hair on top of his head, but other than that he looks pretty close to the source. ^ u^
