Description
This is a tutorial to make a cute felt plushie strap with the message "No Smoking"I made the tutorial to encourage people to make them as gifts for family and friends who smoke.
Not only does it harm themselves, it also harms the people around them.
But each to their own. I cannot stop people from smoking. But I do hope smokers can find a better way to "relax"
Took me about 6 hours to make the tutorial and the strap all up. It's not a great tutorial, but i hope it will help.
I do make these to sell at $8 each.

I've never enjoyed seeing people smoke, and i particularly don't like seeing my friends/family smoke, knowing the harm it can cause.
I don't mind if people make these and sell them, i hope it may encourage people to spread the word.
Hopefully, it will do some good.

That's pretty cool of you, I mostly see people not wanting their patterns used if someone is going to sell them. I can see why though, they spent time on it.

You should stuff it with a cigarette. This way you are getting the person to rid one of their cigs

I love the idea of making a cigarette plushie, however as a hardened Pro-smoker, I fear your message is very lost on me. Though I give you props for finding quite a nice and cute way of spreading your message, rather than ramming it down peoples throats as many anti-smokers do. I'm going to the craft shop tomorrow so I might get myself some felt and make a little menthol plushie to hang from my house keys.

Yeah, all smokers knows the consequences of smoking, so there probably isnt a need to keep reminding them...
The friends i have given that too indeed just think its cute... my brother hangs it in his car... i guess as a sign to not smoke in there... eventho he does do a bit of social smoking...

i try to keep my dad from smoking but i get satans wrath if i even look at him wrong when he hasnt had a cig in a while ... but it wont stop me frm making one of these >< lol

Great, GREAT idea. I myself can't stand people smoking near me (besides the smoke, I feel sort of like my choice of not smoking is denied). Too bad the smokers I know wouldn't take a gift like that so lightly... :/
