Description This piece is just one painting belonging to a larger series based on the crystal clear waters in the rivers of the High Sierra. It's interesting to paint water that is so pure because it actually doesn't have any color. I'm actually painting something that's practically invisible. It's form is made by the rocks it flows around and it's color is that of the rocks and the reflection of the sky above.

I see you have Sargent in your favorite artist list. Have you seen this painting [link] at the DeYoung? Your piece made me think of Sargent's.
