I eat them every day! Most of the time while I'm reading or watching TV. Other people people eat chips (or crisps if you're British) when they do that, I eat apples ^^

Uh-oh! I'm a nerd! Here's another apple fact that will blow your mind.

Apples also reduce radiation! Honest to God. It's the PECTIN in the apple. In Russia, I saw a program detailing how a scientist there created a concentrated powder for people in Chernobyl to consume. All food in Chernobyl is still radioactive but when the children ate their food with the special pectin made from apples in pill form, then it absorbed the dangerous isotopes and they pass through the system in waste. This reduces the chances of cancer greatly and makes the food far safer to eat. Be aware that the Australian expression "apples" is old-fashioned. Sort of like the American "Outta sight". You can use it, but it isn't "hip".
