o / my entry for the Symphonia Advent Calendar!
I'm not super happy with how it came out as it's pretty different from my original intended vision, but I had to get something up today.

... This isn't super festive or cheerful, but the prompt was "winter," so. I immediately knew that Yuan probably wouldn't be the happiest of fellows around a wintry holiday season, as I couldn't see him feeling all that celebratory knowing that Martel couldn't be with him, and was still actively trying to be revived, leading to him just continuing to work and try and keep it from happening. At the same time though, it's him sacrificing his own happiness for everyone else to be able to enjoy a world where they can have those festivities without having to worry about falling into an age of lifeless beings. Y'know.

HOWEVER. I also have the headcanon that he'd take at least one night to give his men a break, probably cooking for them and giving them a night off and maybe having a bit of fun. But they wouldn't do it anymore after Botta died, because it just wouldn't be the same.
