I felt like drawing gryphons lately. Having overcome a few of the assignments I've been wrestling with this week, I indulged myself.

Many thanks to who I kept bugging for suggestions. The one in the lower left is how I usually draw them, and it was a lot of fun trying different, non-traditional gryphons. Probably not going to change the design I've been using for years, but fun nonetheless.

Also, the dinosaurs are related to this. Some people believe gryphon myths were inspired by protoceratops fossils. The raptor one came when I was toying with the idea of prehistoric gryphons, but he's so freakin' weird I just drew him on his own. And the winged one, she is just cute.
