kyaa!! This pic is for 's contest. I think I did a pretty good job. XD Though, it really doesn't fit Aimi's personality. She's suppose to be the serious type, but looking at this pic, she's the nice type. LOL!As usual, any and all criticism is a go.
Btw,if any of you guys like it enough, please vote for this in the contest, which ends on Nov. 25. Make sure you guys see the other submissions. Some of them are pretty cool.

Advanced Critique:
The set up of this picture has been done with the use of the rule of thirds which has proven to be most effective as attention centres on the subject instead of the surrounding picture.
Despite the fact that this picture has been done using a manga style, the subject itself has been drawn with proportions which mostly correspond with real human anatomy. The eyes are reasonable and are not overtaking the head as some artists of the manga style often do but unfortuntely, one of the subject's hands seem to be missing. However due to how the body has been positioned along with the fact that this is a manga styled picture, this is not really such a big deal. The dress has been drawn beautifully in a clear straight forward manner with no over usage of ribbons, ruffles and lace.
The general mood of this picture by examination of the main subject is of warmth and so the background suits this picture beautifully. The butterflies are done with a nice realistic touch and have a great sense of movement in them which helps make this picture believable.
The colouring is bright and vibrant but will not hurt a viewer's eyes as some pictures with similar use of colour can often do.
Overall it is a superb piece which inspires a sense of warmth and it is amazingly easy for a viewer to imagine how this picture would look if there really was movement in it.
