this really sets well into my head cannon of chrysalis. a ruler desperate to save her kingdom whom was left to starve (and die) offering a dea. with tia to allow her hive to feed on the abundance of love equestria had. how ever tia refused and/or denied to allow it and thus she became desperate and force her way onto the kingdom, the over whelming amount of love over loaded her senses and thus drove her mad with power as she was being over fed with the love in the kingdom which led to her defeat.

Chrysalis is still a bitch in the show, even if she does have a justified backstory, so more likely I say her making a plea with Celestia would have been what she could have done if she wasn't evil.Β

but that's the thing tho. your view is 100% true, and so is mine, and everyone's because sadly we only get her in 2 episodes that are meant to make her as a villain. truth is we may never know just how she really is. I mean I'll be totally honest i have very little if nothing to support my view on her other then a hope. she is one character we really need a more in depth look into why she did what she did. is she the legit pest she has been painted or is she a over whelmed loving queen forced to play the hand she was dealt to keep her hive alive. but you are right she should of made a plea with tia, but given there species who's to say they we're profiled and judged with out knowing them. like i said we really need more of a canon story on her even if it's twi going over books of them.
