Description Probably the longest I've ever spent on a photomanipulation...I hate that detail is lost by downsizing the image, but the original file size was huge. It locked up Photoshop a few times while I was working on it The thumbnail looks ugly

omg all I can say is WOW! well, that isnt ALLI can say... this is amazing! the colors are spectacular! what a sin to have only 30 views....i need to fave this and some how get it to my main page... oh by the way My boyfirnd is thrilled to see that his fish still "lives on" through your picture..absolutely gorgeous!

I love this!! It's a wonderful depiction of an exotic mermaid. The extra fins on the tail and her arms are great. And the scaled look on her arms looks cool, too. She'd look exotic with webbing between her fingers as well.

Wow...very beautiful. The colors are amazing, very rich and bright. I really want to learn how to do stuff like this,digital painting, that is...are there any tutorials here on deviant, or the internet that you recommend?

Thanks so much! This particular piece is a photomanipulation...I'm not sure if you were referring to photomanipulating or digitally drawing something...I haven't done much digital art from scratch, though I've been messing with Photoshop for a while now, and am still discovering new techniques the more I use it. DA has a lot of photoshop tutorials in the resources section, but I can't recall any particular ones that I have used...mainly it's just practice

Oh. My. God! This is so beautiful!!! The shading is just so soft and swishy and her face is adorable!!! The scales look real and wow..the face and the fins and and and!! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS SO COOOOOOOL!
