Just the scope of it is amazing. Alluring texture, florascape, smooth colours, lines and something to catch the eye all in one. But moeuf does have a point, it'd also be nice to see it without the waterdrop.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Love the colours, can't believe the simple composition, 'cause it looks like so much more then it really is. A drop on a flower??? Very nice

I would love this without the water droplet. Frankly, I find the whole 'drop of water on a flower' thing is a bit overdone, and completely unneccesary. If the form of the flower and the composition of the shot are sound, there is no need to add anything. Then again, everyone seems to really like diamonds and dangly earrings, too, and I can't stand all that extra fru-fru crap, so maybe that's just me. At any rate, I really like the underlying form, and the shot was perfectly executed.

Thanks Maggie! The droplet adds a focal point, texture variation and becuause of the tilt of the bloom, a bit of animation to the shot I feel. Like diamond earings, a water drop will sometimes catch the eye. Unlike the earings, the water can occur naturally on a flower (although this droplet was deliberately placed
