I love this one. The colors are so soft and lovely, and the angle of the flower is so flattering (which sounds weird, since it's not portraiture!). I really just love the coloring in this.

Mmm look at the way those petals fold. Looking at this reminds me of the little decorations that you put on a lovely grand cake. The colours you've captured in this are quite nice and I particularly like the strong pink. Just a few thoughts on this though... the composition is pretty nice, but I just feel that if more of the flower filled the frame it would've been better - that red bit looks pretty stranded all on its own against the black background. Also, and I'm not sure if you intended this or not, but the focus for me is way too soft. There's not really a part that draws you and if anything it just comes off looking blurry. Other than those things though, it's a pretty nice photo.

Thanks Zeta! i did actually enter the uncropped version of this in a contest and did ok. there were some discolorations in some petals that i didn't want to clone out. this crop was the result. thanks for your comments .. i am an admirer of your work.

Another grand photo from you. The only thing I don't like about it is how fuzzy it is, I'd definitely like a sharper, crisper image more, but given the size that these little guys tend to be, that'd be very hard.
