[UPDATE] - So Celestia's anatomy on the upper body was kinda bugging me, so I fixed it up a bit. (Let me know if the image has trouble showing up).Dammit MLP, stop being my Muse! I don't even watch your show anymore (in the few months I actually sat down to watch it), yet things like this happen.
Yeah, literally I was just daydreaming and then came up with this. Originally, I wanted to just do Princess Celestia, but then I decided to also do Luna (For Luna's face I actually used Alicia Keys as a reference). I know I took a lot of creative liberties when coming up with these humanized designs, but honestly I wanted them to look aesthetically pleasing as well as make it look distinct to my personal vision. These helped me de-stress a lot during finals week, and it must've worked, based on the good grades I've gotten.
I mostly did this to get used to using my tablet. That, and I wanted to redo my humanized version of Luna so badly (Link to first design: fav.me/dakmaj8 ).
True story: I actually made the color palette from scratch, because 1. I was lazy, and 2. (refer back to 1).

I like the designs here. Some more work and shading and highlights to add some structure would make the piece more striking.

Cool designs! I have to admit liking how they have darker skin tones, usually when people humanize them they give them both very light tones, so it's pretty seeing them like this.
I have to admit being a bit wondering why Celestia's dress has so little detail compared to Luna's dress' design elements, after all in the show she is more on the throne than her sister, so in a way it would make sense for her to have more "royal" look? It's not bad of course, just a little something that made me wonder a bit.

As for Celestia's dress, I don't know, I just kinda had this image in my mind of a white dress that kinda hugged the skin, whereas with Luna I specifically imagined something more medieval-ish, so I was overall satisfied with the designs in the end. I guess part of it is that I used references for Luna's design, but with Celestia, it was more from imagination. Although, the more that I think about it, a lot did go into Luna's design as opposed to Celestia's, not entirely sure why but that's just how they turned out.

Well you do have a point there! Though even if for nothing else, variety would be good for practise...
Most of my characters (which most are not even drawn yet) aren't human though, but maybe I should draw humanized versions of some. After all with many it would make sense for them to be darker now that I think about it.
