Yes I ruined this picture D:(I twas teh colorin)
See at first her hair was blond and her eyes were red then her hair was purple with purple eyes but I still didn't like it and changed her hair to a salmon pink and made her eyes blue and green -.-
But all that erasing the colored pencil ruined the texture of the paper so in the end the hair didn't come out looking soft like I wanted it to *sigh*
Everything in red was crosshatched with a red pen cause I felt like it :3
I needz to make up meh mind before I start colorin krap...
And for those if you who don't know what a Nekomata ish:
A bakeneko (化け猫, bakeneko "monster cat") is, in Japanese folklore, a cat with supernatural abilities akin to those of the fox or raccoon dog. A cat may become a bakeneko in a number of ways: it may reach a certain age, be kept for a certain number of years, grow to a certain size, or be allowed to keep a long tail. In the last case, the tail forks in two and the bakeneko is then called a nekomata

Here's an artist to artist tip:
If you can't choose on a color scheme, you can either
A. make a photocopy of the lineart like at the library or
B. scan or photograph the lineart and print out a copy.
Then, you can play with the color scheme on the copies and when you pick one that you like really well, color the original that color scheme. It's saved my butt several times. But heres' another tip, simply scribble on your copies, don't actually fill in all the areas, otherwise you get tired of coloring and don't want to color the original anymore.
