Shhh! Quiet, RednessShadow! No Offence, First of all, According the comment that I written down, I have a feeling that all those recolored ponies/ocs can't be that as annoying as you think. Second of all, I actually like these recolored ponies/ocs. In fact, I agree with SuperSmashCynderLum that these are very nice, Even though they are just recolored ponies.
As for AquaticNeon, I would suggest to just post more recolored ponies/ocs anyway bc I'm pretty sure they can diffidently not be that as annoying at all as RednessShadow thinks. So please just post more recolored ponies/ocs. Please! Thanks.

G4 Twilight: Alright, Twilight, you've had a nice stroll around town. It was fun, not gonna lie... But I'm still wondering why Owlowiscious stared at me like that during his mid-afternoon flight. And then he just zipped off! He never acts like that unless something bad happened! (opens door) But it couldn't be THAT bad, could it? (stops to see 3 strangely familiar ponies) ...Huh. Guess it could.
G3 Twilight: Oh, wow, this castle is so amazing! A-huh? Oh, hi there! Nice to meet you! Do you know who this castle belongs to? I-Wait, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Twilight, Twilight Twinkle.
G4 Twilight: Oh, uh, hello. Actually, this castle belongs to me. I am Twilight, Twilight Sparkle.
G1 Twilight: Wow, this is weird! Oh, and I am Twilight... Just...Twilight.
Bright Eyes: You all have the SAME NAME?! That is just crazy! At least I don't make things worse; I'm Bright Eyes! Nice to meet you, Twilight Sparkle!
G4 Twilight: Uh, yes, it's good to meet all of you, too. Uh, I'm confused though. Of course, I guess anyone would be. I mean, you scared an owl, so-

G4 Twilight: Yes, actually. Owlowiscious is my loyal assistant for nighttime jobs. I may not be nocturnal, but I'm still a busy mare! We bumped into each other during his mid-afternoon flight, and then he just stared at me and flew away quickly. He only ever acts like that if something goes terribly wrong! So, I decided to go back home to find out why he was acting like that. And I can totally get it now! You all look like me, and two of you actually have the same NAME as me, too! That cannot be good! The only way this could get any worse is if you all have incredible magical power like I do! Luckily, only one of you is a unicorn, so...
G1 Twilight: Well, actually, I have so much magical power, other ponies believe I'm all-powerful!
G3 Twilight: I may not know magic, but this still seems bad either way!
Bright Eyes: I agree! Magic or no magic, I get the feeling that something bad is happening! (gasp) And I just realized something that will make it even worse! I don't even remember leaving my house, let alone coming to a castle!
G1 & G3 Twilight: WHAT?! Oh my gosh, neither do we!!!
G4 Twilight: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!!! Whatever's happening right now is BAD! Really BAD!! How could this get any worse?!?! (suddenly, the other Mane 5, Spike, 15 lookalikes of the Mane 5, 2 Spike lookalikes, Starlight Glimmer, and DISCORD all burst through the door) What the-? Girls? Spike? Starlight? Discord? And... Other versions of the Girls and Spike?!
G1 Twilight: Wait a second... Those other girls aren't just any girls...

(everyone turns to see a tall cloaked figure standing in the shadows slowly approach)
G1 Twilight: What the-? Who are you? What do want with us?
???: Sigh... Twilight, I'm so sorry about all of this... I missed you...
G1 Twilight: Missed me? What in the world are you-?
???: Applejack...Posey...Surprise...Sparkler...Firefly...Spike...
Surprise: Okay, now you're starting to scare me. How do you know us?... Who are you?
???: Sigh...(starts singing) My Little Pony, My Little Pony, Isn't the world a lovely place... My Little Pony, My Little Pony, Everywhere you go, a smiling face...
Posey: Wait a minute... I know that song! And that voice, it sounds so familiar...
???: (still singing) Running and Skipping, Merrily Tripping, no sign of trouble in sight... My Little Pony, My Little Pony, May all your days be bright... May all your days be bright... (stops singing and takes off her cloak to reveal herself as...)
G1 Mane 6 & Spike: MEGAN?!?!?!
G4 Twilight: Huh? You know who this is after all?
Sparkler: Yes! She has helped us on many adventures before. But Megan, why would you do something like this?
Megan: Sparkler, again, I am truly sorry about all of this... It's just been so long since I've seen you before being sent to this world...
Firefly: Wait, you were sent to this world before any of us were? Is that why we haven't seen you in awhile?
Megan: I'm afraid so, Firefly. I always thought we would be together forever, that nothing could separate me from all my pony friends... But then she returned.
G1 Spike: Wha- She? Who are you talking about? Who returned?
Megan: ...(low grumble) Somnambula.
G1 Mane 6 & Spike: (gasp) Somnambula?!
Megan: Yes. The very same Somnambula who tried to steal all of our youth to keep herself young.
G4 Rarity: What?! Such undignified vanity! What kind of monster would actually think that to be an understandable way to do anything?!
Megan: Yes, she was truly despicable. And she managed to return while I was simply walking through the forest to the Moochick's house. She put some magic spell on me that transported me here, to Equestria. After hiding out in the alleys of Canterlot for a month or so, I finally decided to try and get an audience with Princesses Celestia and Luna, who teleported me to a small closed-off area in which I could start a new life... But that was not what I wanted.
G4 RD: Uh, excuse me? Where DID they send you, exactly?
Megan: They sent me to a place not far from here, in a forest of some kind. I ended up living with and befriending a zebra, who taught me the ways of magic.
G4 Mane 6 & Spike: (gasp) Zecora?!
Megan: Yes, that's correct. I didn't realize you knew her. And forgive her for not mentioning me, but I told her that I prefer to be kept a secret. Anyway, I knew the Princesses had my well-being in mind with their decision, but I didn't want to start a new life. I just wanted to see my old friends again. So, I decided to try out a spell Zecora mentioned once that could potentially bring beings of other worlds into this one. Unfortunately, I ended up making the spell too powerful, and I accidentally brought ponies from 3 different worlds to Equestria instead of just my world.
G1 Spike: Yikes! That definitely isn't good!
Megan: No, Spike, it isn't. And I fear that this isn't even everyone I brought here. I am truly sorry about everything that has occurred...
G3 RD: No apologies required, darling. In fact, if you need help finding the rest, we will all be more than willing to help.
Megan: Really? Even after this terrible thing I've done, you'd still help me out?
G1, G2, & G3 Cast: Of course!
G1 AJ: Megan, what kind of friends would we be if we couldn't forgive? We're all in the same situation now, and just like all those times before, we'll be more than willing to help out!
G4 Pinkie: Well, what are we waiting for? We've got some new friends to find!
Megan: Actually, I'd like you and your friends to stay here for now. Getting sent to another world was our problem, not yours, and I don't want you getting involved in something you don't have be a part of. Especially with all the adventures you could be having!
G4 Twilight: Megan's right, girls. We should just leave it to them for now, and if they need any help from us, I know that they will come to us for it.
Megan: Well, then, it was nice meeting you all. Now if you'll excuse me, my friends and I have a long road ahead of us! (Megan & all the other previous gen characters run out the door in search of any others who have been brought to Equestria)

That's a sort of mythology gag: Twilight Velvet technically is a G4 version of Twilight design-wise much as Twilight Sparkle is Twilight in terms of everything else, but they can't trademark "Twilight" on its own...
Having an old and grey version of the G1 Twilight be the mother of her G4 counterpart is a nice touch regardless.
You might also find a nice surprise if you look at the desgin of one of the wonderbolts. Just saying.

There's also the (fairly common fanon) that Twilight Velvet is some form of badass. Considering what G1 Twilight was and that Twilight Velvet is supposed to be the G4 version of this pony, it makes sense on its own and would explain why both of her foals (Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle) ended up being ridiculously powerful.

Twilight Velvet is supposed to be based on the G1 Twilight. They couldn't use her design directly (Twilight Sparkle had the G1 coloration in original concept, but it was changed later), so they tweaked it and made her Twilight Sparkle's mom as a nod of sorts to the original generation.
