The reflection is involving.
At first sight one don't know if the tree in the middle is in the water or in the foreground.

so serene, love the peaceful natural greens........ and there's something about that tree in the foreground that cuts a swaith across the composition, leaning in the opposite direction to all the trees beyond.......

hey me either, i just like to play around. i constantly feel like im in way over my head on here, but people have inspired me to step it up a notch, try new things, and i always enjoy learning

i definitely agree about the stepping it up a notch thing. when i see the amazing work that is on here, i get really inspired to try harder and to put my best foot forward. i spent a long time on Puzzle and I am really excited that it's being well received so far... it was definitely the biggest challenge that I've tried so far and i was satisfied with how it came out. deviantart is very motivating, i must say.

it makes me sad that i didnt take photography classes in high school or college. now im left trying to figure out all this stuff basically by myself. that goes for traditional art classes too. i took one in college, and felt way intimiated and didnt take anymore. the one lonely drawing in my gallery is from that class.

I understand what you mean about that - I took 1 graphic art class my freshman year of high school, and I've been just doing art for myself/by myself since then. i guess I don't like the idea of an assignment in an art class, you know? it's almost too structured for me. I'd rather just draw whatever I want.

Really very gorgeous, the contrast is just right on this. With a black frame, this would really stand out, but i love the color especially. It looks like it gets just a tiny bit blurry in the picture, but i know that can't be changed, but nice picture regardless.

This seems to be a really beautiful place to be! I would like this photo better if you added more contrast and enhanced the colours. It would become more appealing and less a "stock"-like photo! Other than that, you could also add a frame, a simple one of course, nothing too fancy that could ruin its pure beauty.
