ok..i really gotta post it here in my gallery...i want her to be a part of my gallery..this is my dog and a friend Aira..the girliest dog i've ever met..she really knows how to play it cute..but the saddest part is she's already dead..she was infected by a rabid dog...the way she looks when she was about to die is nothing really compared when she was still well...i've witnessed the whole scenario...her face is really scary but her voice sounds like she's asking for a help..i could really see 2 different creature during those time..the one is the rabid dog and the other one..who's my friend..she never bit anyone...she can still recognize me hours before the rabies took her in..i really cried when she died because the moment that her life was bein washed away her face returned sweet..the face that i always see when i was calling her name and when we were playing..we actually put a candle and a wood with her name on it and the date when she died on her tomb located on our garden..she died last monday feb. 18 and i'm still not over it...i'm always wanting to see her greet me when i woke up..just like she always did when she was still alive and well...she doesn't deserved to be infected by that sickness...i know i'm not the only one who experienced this...i still miss you aira!!!we'll see each other again in paradise wjer nothing can keep us apart...

don't you get vets to give them shots to prevent getting rabies?

she is gorgeous.... it reminds me of in malaysia when my dog was stolen... and her puppies too... only three of her puppies were left. her name was lucky..... i cried when she left.

oh...I'm sooo sorry.....many people don't understand how hard it is to lose a dog, but they offer unconditional love and never judge you and their dying leaves a huge empty hole that no amount of tears can fill. I lost my 4 year old Bullmastiff to cancer a couple of years ago and not a day goes by when I don't think of him and although it does make me sad, I'm also happy for the few years he shared in my life and the memories he left.

i'm so sorry, i know how you feel, that happened to my dog, but i wasn't living at home and no one told me for a week. its really hard losing a pet (more of a friend than a pet), i hope you feel better

I've lost 5 dogs. The 2 were recent. I couldn't stop crying at the first months of their deaths.

I'm so honestly sorry for what happened to your dog. I loved mine a lot and both had to be put to sleep because they were seriously ill and were suffering a lot. The difference is that they were really old.
Your story is so sad! Only someone who cares for animals could understand it, I guess. Animals are noble and innocent. But there are a lot of mean people who can't care less about them... It goes without saying I hate those kind of people. I'm sorry I'm digressing but one thing leads to another and I get carried out.
Last month I was taking care of a stray kitten who was hit by a car. I had him operated twice and I took care of him two weeks. He died anyway. I thought it was really unfair! I cried a lot but then I was happy because I loved him and I can tell he knew that before he died.

I'm sorry, losing your pet is the worst feeling in the world. I had a dog, Matty, who died from an infection after getting attacket by another animal. It's hard, I wish you the best in your time of grief.

I cried reading this, because of what happened to her and that you had to see it happen to your friends.

I didn't know dogs could still get rabies, don't they get injections against it?

i didn't read all the comments but a few i noticed have said that their dogs passed away too, i've had a lovely dog who passed away too and it broke my heart, also a friend of mine whose dog passed away summer of 2007
what i try to tell myself is that all these lovely dogs are now together in a good place watching over us
dogs are mankind's best friend
my heart is with you aramismarron, and aira was a lovely and beautiful dog, just think that she is no longer suffering from that stupid and ridiculous sickness! my heart is already torn just hearing about her story and i can only imagine how you feel
we're all with you, but continue to be the amazing artist you are which i'm sure aira knew that you are, draw a picture of her! she's watching over you

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is one of the worst things that can happen to someone, especially when you are very close to them. She looks like she was a cute, happy dog, just as you described.

I'm all teary Eyed, I'm really sorry for your loss, I've had to put my dog down about a year ago cuz she was really old and i was there when it happened, she let out this long last breath and then she was gone, it was really hard. She was an old english sheepdog named Cindy she was wonderful. Your dog is beautiful and again i'm sorry for everything your going through.
