Wow, title once more =_=Here is the kiriban prize for !
I was asked to draw their chara in a defiant mood or super cute ... Tried to make her look defiant but well idk if I suceeded >_>
Also! Time for background practising again!! x') Tell me if you think something's weird, I would be glad to hear your tips in order to improve !!!

I don't think I'm good person to advise you but I tend to observe, so I can say that if you want do better bgs ( even if this one is nice), you should try to add to the piece more perspective. Here we have second plan which is trees and just sky texture behind it. Maybe it would be nice to create more plans and express that it can look more like 3D. If you know what I mean.

And yeaaah I see! It's difficult to create this 3D "effect" though ;_; I just suck at painting things so.... backgrounds are part of it xD

Nah, backgrounds are really difficult things to draw and when you are not perfect in it doesn't mean you suck at paintings. I saw your other works and they are very good!

c'est un beau rendu; je trouve que tu as bien réussi l'air de défi.
le shading et la pose, la coloration sont très bien faites;
concernant le fond, il est assez simple mais je constate des essais de
texture ou d'ombre sur certains troncs, j'aurai laissé un aplat, une couleur unie
pour chaque tronc si tu veux rester dans l'efficacité;
tu peux aussi très bien ajouter un peu d'écorce pour donner de la profondeur;
mais j'aime déjà bien comment ça rend; tu as évolué très vite en peu de temps ! c:
