More lizards yay
This was a gift for my boyfriend for our one-year anniversary, because this is his favourite blue tongue species. I got it printed on a canvas and I think it turned out pretty well. Because I knew I was going to print it, I drew it in like the biggest resolution I've ever used and so the file ended up being absolutely enormous and my poor computer was glad when I finished it XDI've been drawing it between commissions since mid-August and almost didn't finish it in time to get it printed, but I just managed to squeak it in.Β
For those interested, this is a Centralian Blue Tongue Skink, and they're pretty darn cute little loaves

They're neat little reptiles. Their mating rituals are sometimes brutal though.

Beautiful, reminds me a little of the Gila Monster, even if they are totally different, I'd have this cutie as a pet, if it's not venomous.

Aw you're so lucky! I wish we could keep tortoises in Australia! My boyfriend is a reptile breeder so he has several different lizard species, and some turtles, but no tortoises.Β

I'm so jealous of him, tortoises are great, but depending on the breed, they can be very hard to take care of, worse part is that mine were gifted to me because there's a lot of herbs in my house, but they're 3 males and a female and one of the males is too much of an alpha, so we have to keep them appart

It's not getting one as if if you pet them there convinced your playing with them before there eaten. I have a tender heart I morened a skink who got stuck in a glue trap. I cried when there was nothing I could do for the poor creature, but when it was dead I deposed of the body
