Description
I got the go-ahead!This is the art I did for the cover of my university's literary journal, for the theme Unnatural Selection. It's a bit old now but I'm still really happy with how it came out!
I didn't really have any specific inspiration for it - this image kind of just came into my mind, so I drew it!
I'm not sure whether to put mature content on it or not, it's a bit disturbing I know. If you think I should put the filter on, please let me know!

You are welcome, for the feedback. She reminded me a bit of a character; that you would get in the tv series Dark Angel. They originally started out with genetically modified soldiers, who had super strength. But, in the second season, there was all sorts of different creatures, who were part human mixed with animal or fish DNA. So, she could be something similar in a story!

Yes, it had a very cool story. Sadly though, it only ran for two seasons; and then I think it got cancelled in America. So, I never saw anymore, here in the UK. But, basically it stars the lovely Jessica Alba, who is a genetically modified soldier, who was previously used by the government, to be the ultimate soldier. But, the government treated them badly, so a few of them escaped into the world. She meet this guy, who is like a rebel, who reports all the corrupt goings on in the world, under a secret identity. And, she basically helps him, with certain missions, but also has to escape the government army, who is constantly trying to recapture her. The second season is about them overthrowing the organisation and releasing a lot more genetically modified people into the world. But, this time, some have DNA, which is mixed with other animals. Max herself is mixed human DNA with Cat DNA, but she looks totally human, to look at her. Except, at times she gets a bit sexually on heat, due to her Cat DNA, which causes her a few problems. I fully recommend it though. It is an old series, but you can still get it on DVD. And, you never know. Some people might have posted a few episodes on the internet, such as YouTube.

I think this is one of my favorite drawings that you've ever made, hands down! Not only is the concept super unique, but the lighting, the shading, the choice of colors...I cannot even fathom how amazing this is. My favorite thing about it has to be the scales, the heart and the pop of color it brings, and her gaze, its haunting, I love it (=✪ᆽ✪= )! I know this is old, but it still looks fantastic!
