Description An attempt at ponifying this image:

(but with some changes of my own, such as putting Doctor Whooves in his pinstripe suit, and Derpy in an outfit akin to Rose's Doomsday clothes, since I love that look on her so much, and changing Derpy's pose, because this fits her more)

I'm never going to end up finishing this. It always crashes whenever I try to use the line tool to make the lines for the panels of the TARDIS doors.

But everything is basically finished, save for a bit more extensive shading on the ears and hair, now that I've developed a new technique for that, and maybe ad a bit of a green tint to some of the shading coming from behind Derpy, since the column in the middle of the TARDIS is glowing.

The wood texture was from a free stock I found I google months ago. I'll put up a link to it once I find it again.

I dunno. Maybe I'll finish it one day.

I just love these two.

I have this silly headcannon behind them, and it's so much fun!
For those Doctor Who fans who've seen the episode where the Doctor becomes human, then this should make sense when I get into it later on.

Doctor Whooves and Derpy have a relationship akin to the 10th Doctor's and Rose's relationship (only that they end up actually admitting their love for each other and become a 'thing')

Derpy's eyes are 'derped' because of her and the Doctor's encounter on a pony version of Satellite 5, where Derpy looked into the heart of the TARDIs to save the 9th Doctor Whooves's life.
Her eyes got all weird, because even though the 9th Whooves tried to take all of the Time Vortex out of her, some of it remained. Her eyes are like that because now she can slightly see the timelines with one eye, nad normally with the other. They function separately from each other, much like a chameleon's. She can focus them like a normal pony if she wants, but she never really does, because they 'derp' on their own. She has to think about focusing them.

After the whole Satellite 5 ordeal, the 10th whooves did some scans on Derpy, and to his utter amazement, there were still Huon particles left in her body. The TARDIS had taken such a liking to Derpy because she was the first mare that her doctor had loved, so instead of letting the deadly huon energy kill her, she was slowly changing her genetic makeup to that of a Time Lord's. The final transition would be painful, but they two believed it would be worth it all.

Doctor Whooves and Derpy appear in Ponyville the way they do, because they're hiding from the pony version of The Family, having gone through the chameleon arch and changed into normal, Equestrian ponies. Derpy acts so stupid, because she's putting on an act for all the other ponies, so nobody would ever suspect her and the Doctor of being the ponies that The Family wants when they finally arrive in Equestria.

Derpy is actually very smart and intuitive, akin to a smarter version of Rose (well, she has to be, now that she's becoming a Time Lady like her Doctor)

And, there's my schpeel. I love it, and I'm sticking to it! XD

That's an interesting idea. I'll give you credit, do you mind if I adopt it for my ponyfic, A Thief at the Gala? I was pondering about a way to explain her level of confidence and boredom during a tense encounter with a nasty villain of mine.

Check it out if you're curious. ^^ Here's the link: [link]

You don't need the line tool to make lines. Hold shift while you draw with the regular brush. Creates a perfect horizontal or vertical line.

Then ctrl+T to edit it.
