Description Well, here we are. May 22nd. The previous day has come and gone, just like any other day that has passed by in our lifetime.

The only difference was that the 21st was marked as a day when the Earth would suffer a massive series of earthquakes as 6:00 PM would sweep through each time zone while millions would ascend into Heaven while the rest would be left behind to suffer five months of Hell on Earth before the end of the world as we know it!

Who said all that? This guy. Harold Camping. Head of a Christian radio channel that claimed to have deciphered the exact date in the Bible's scripture about God's warning to Noah about the coming flood. It turns out Camping has once again been proven wrong... for the SECOND time! The first time he was wrong about the End of Days was back in 1994.

This just deserved something to be drawn on now we lived through the Apocalypse that didn't happen. I harkened back to when I talked to my friend, Draco Silverflame, about this and he suggested that if we ever saw one of those traveling RVs warning us of Judgement Day (and I actually saw one once at a Wal-Mart parking lot), we would go right up to them and shout, "YOU AIN'T GOT NO PANCAKE MIX!!"

So here's what you got. Draco and I taking the time to heckle the poor Mr. Camping as he sits by his propaganda bandwagon as he has been proven wrong.

And before you say anything, let me make clear that I am not an Atheist. And neither is Draco. We both grew up with religious backgrounds and I do have a belief that religion is a way to teach peace and love for your fellow man. But to see religion used to teach fear and hate is something I look down on. In fact, I did some research on the subject matter in the days leading to the 21st, and according to the Holy Bible, there are some series of events and stipulations that debunk the fact that May 21st is the day of Judgement.

1: A real prophet would never be wrong. Camping was wrong once for having the date in 1994 slip due to a "miscalculation" of the numbers he added up. And now he is wrong again for what he said was a certain date and time that he can't possibly be wrong about. In fact, Jesus warned about the existence of false prophets that would deceive us and get us to listen to what they have to say. Guess we just got ourselves another one of those recently...

2: No man has any say on when and how the world would end. It is only that for God himself to know, and we all should live our lives as we always have. Camping would have to come along and spew his message out to make him the center of attention.

3: Before the actual event could take place, The Great Tribulation would take place when Jerusalem would be "trodded down" and would take a few years for that to occur... yeah, hasn't happened yet. And even if it would have happened before the 21st, it is way too short of a time span to guarantee an End of Days.

As you can see, I was rather interested about the whole subject matter from a Biblical perspective, probably more so than I ever was in my entire life on any religious matter.

I am surprised that Camping didn't take any time to actually read anything past the Noah story to get the whole Rapture predicament right. If he was studying the Bible to find out when the Earth would have an expiration date, you'd think he would take the time to check EVERY SINGLE VERSE in that Bible!

All I can think now is how his followers will handle all this. Thousands have took their time to spread the word all around the globe. Some have quit their jobs and cut family ties by force just so they would do what they thought was right. But now that the day has come and gone and their message has not been carried out. I am only hoping they would come to their senses and turn on this guy, because I am going to imagine, this isn't going to get pretty.

.............Okay. I'm done ranting... you can all go on to Trolling my pic...

I feel more sorry for the people who gave away everything to spread the word of the end of days and would come out with nothing left. Since he practically took in all that money without the intention to give it back, I'd hold a hard spot on the guy.

He's not gonna give up, In 1994 when he failed sept. 6th he tried on chirstmas day on the same year, hes probably gonna do somthing like that now, though hes not going to get much word out now due to the fact he lost all of his followers

Yeah, he already did, and no doubt that he will do it again October. Once the three strikes are made, someone just HAS to take action at this guy for taking the money of those who gave for his false prophecies.

Well he says hes not gonna advertise it so most likley he and his new faux prophecy will fade away from public before October hits and he might even forget it,lets just ignore him because if we continue to taunt him,hes gonna use it to look like a martyr and gather followers to join his heretical cult

It is honestly hard to ignore him at this point. I was honestly hoping to see him crash and burn in defeat and would be faced for all he did, but if the media attention will be fading off, then I suppose my attention to him will fade along with it if I can't keep a good tab on his ignorant self.

LOL I kinda feel sorry for this man, he's how old? And he doesn't really have anything to live for except making dumbass predictions that won't come true.

Matthew says it specifically, that nobody not man nor the angels in heaven oh, man, and not even CHRIST himself?

So what gives these FALSE PROPHETS to predict the world rapture or whatever from happening?

Dude doesn't know shit.

Rapture isn't a giant ass earthquaking starting from the navel of the world (middle east) and spreading to all over the world, no, rapture is those in Christ suddenly disappear out of thin air to be with God.

Oh, and pray for those gullible enough to believe the false prophet and sold their houses.

Oh, and yeah I don't think he looked well into the Bible either...

But I like the drawing, it's very good and was well thought out

LOL you ain't got no pancake mix!

I would love to go and point out his lack of pancake mix to him with you guys.

...of course, that is, if we intend to give out pancakes to the parties involved in question? I mean, at least to sweeten the sour mood a little?

Well, I definitely won't troll ya. I agree with you COMPLETELY. I am a Christian myself, and I believe in God, Jesus Christ and in the power of prayer and the holy spirit. BUT, I can't stand organized religion as dictated by MAN. Time and time again it has been proven that man cannot handle these situations, and often instead of love, tolerance and patience they preach anger, hatred and fear. Camping is one of these men.

Regardless of what some may say, religion CAN be a great tool for people to find inner peace and live life towards a greater goal. Regardless if we are praying to God, Allah or even the spaghetti monster, all religion preach happiness and how we as a human species should learn to love and tolerate one another. Even if the teachings don't always agree with each other, the end goal tends to be the same.

What I hate the most about this whole rapture fiasco is how atheists are using this as an excuse to hate on Christians even further, to the point where they are wishing death upon them. I am sorry, but that is awful. It's one thing to not believe in a God, the other is hating others for their beliefs. I respect atheism and even agree with many of their points, but I hate it when THEY criticize extreme fanatics and then perform the same tactics. Isn't the point of atheism is to not fall into the same traps fanatics often fall into? If they hate it when people wish death upon them why should THEY do it? That's basically like a black man who protests against racism and then is racist towards Asians.

But now I am rambling. Just wanted to say that regardless of what anyone says you have my support

Amen, my friend! My thoughts exactly. Religion can be a tool that can either be used for good or evil, depending on who uses it and for what. At times, it can teach those to love and respect one another while others would use a Bible as a weapon against things they cannot agree on or other religions, causing a web of hate. Even rational religious people could agree with atheists to the fact that Camping is wrong about Judgement Day. I read about how some Priests were interviewed having to disagree with that man on his number-crunching "facts".
