I THINK this is the first DM pet I've done, actually?SO MUCH GREY AND PURPLE. XD Purple being a colour I generally dislike, and grey being a pain to shade... No wonder I've put off drawing a DM pet for 4 years. XD
I didn't think of it until after the pet was finished, but now I can't stop thinking of Marlin and Dory being entranced by the lure of the anglerfish. "It's so...pretty."

I don't like fish. I eat fish, so owning them for pets seems silly to me. Like some birds too. >:C
But this little fishie? LOVE IT! To be what really sold it was the pose. You really did nail the fluid effect to me. I can't understand why anyone would want to flip it. I love it the way it is, you did great for your first[?] DM pet!

IM SO CONFUSED ABOUT THIS PET. I GUESS MY MONITOR IS TOO BRIGHT ITS TOO CONTRASTY I KEEP HAVING TO TILT MY HEAD AND GO CROSSEYED I THINK THE ARTIST DREW THIS NORMAL AND THEN FLIPPED IT IT WOULD LOOK BETTER ROTATED 90 DEGREES.
This pet makes me really happy and I want an excuse to own one.

The shading is fantastic and I love how fluid the pose looks. Dark matter pets can tend to look a bit boring due to their limited color scheme, but this one is spiced up the perfect amount :'D
