Here is my own take on Blitzwing. There's a bit of G1, a bit of TFA, and even a bit of Bumblebee movie thrown into this one. He actually turned out better than I had planned. I even accidently created a slight optical illusion with his head. If you look into the eye on the right, his entire head looks more like TFA; but if you look into the eye on the left, his entire head looks more like G1. I don't really know how that happened.

TF135: Blitzwing

Blitzwing was once a lead security specialist for the Cybertronian colony of Velocitron. However, not long after the Great Cybertronian War broke out, the Spacebridge that connected Cybertron with its colonies was destroyed in an effort to prevent the war from spreading to the colonies. However, the fact that Velocitron was now disconnected from both Cybertron and the authority of the High Counsel, was hidden from colonists by the leaders of Velocitron in a bid to maintain both order and the status quo. This lead them to exile large demographics of colonists to the wastelands outside the walled capital city under the guise of expanding the colony.

Blitzwing and his entire security team were "retired" and replaced because their organized strength was perceived as a potential threat to the reigning leadership's authority. Once out in the wasteland, the former security team formed a gang in order to survive. Bliztwing; his younger brother, Demolishor; and the strike team that formed the combiner, Ruination, became known as the "War Masters." As leader of the War Masters, Blitzwing portrayed himself as a ruthless, rage-filled beast in order to deter other gangs from pestering him and his group. However, behind closed doors, he was actually very cold and calculating with the single minded goal of ensuring the survival of his crew within the outer wastelands of Velocitron.

Blitzwing was critically injured during a leg of the Great Velocitron Grand Prix by a bot named Springer, who was a member of a rival racing gang known as the "Wreckers." Although he lived over the incident, his wasteland team was unable to salvage half of his face and instead replaced it with a mask fashioned out of armored plates. In order to make the mask seem more lively and less creepy, Demolishor suggested that they wire a lightbulb into the empty eye socket. ...They later regretted the decision.
