yes henna is a paste. Henna come from a plant, the leaves are crushed finely into powder and i mix this powder with hot water, sugar and essential oils. I apply henna paste with a cone, like that

When the paste is removed, the henna let a brow stain on the skin, for 1 to 3 weeks

it is a paste, you squeeze it from a tube through a little nozzle, it takes a lot of skill to do something this detailed!!!

henna goes dark orangey brown on the skin, so long as you leave the paste on for long enough.
it's very pretty, and not permamnent.
