Description Alongside the evolution to Emolga, I drew several different evolutions to Miltank. Each one of them brings a different take on the cattle-Pokémon, depending on which item that Miltank is given. Which means this is not different variations of the same evolution, but rather four totally different Pokémon.

The logo for this picture may be that of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but this Pokémon is meant for a Legends-game based on the Unova-region. A game like that is not official (yet), but rumors are flying around so it may happen next year.

This evolution of Miltank (along with the other variants) is actually from the far-distant future. Where people took a massive herd of Miltank and Taurus and released them onto an island for the sake of providing meat and milk for humans. But as time went on, due the grass being limited for such a massive herd and without natural predators, the Miltank started to evolve into different forms. While the Taurus remained unchanged and able to breed with all of the variants. Then thanks to Colress using time-travel technology to bring the island to the 21:st century, he ended up sending the island to the late 19:th century. That is why these Pokémon exist in this era. Colress got access to this technology by studying the notes that he recovered from Prof. Sada and Turo, while also talking with Cyrano and Briar. Colress later appeared in past to see what happened and took the opportunity to study the Aliosian-history and potentially capture these Pokémon for himself. Matthew was also forced to work together with Colress, because he had to regain the trust of Brooder after getting an Aliosian woman killed (even though it turned out to be a Zoroark in disguise). I really hope something like this may happen one day. We have seen plenty of cross-gen evolutions as of late with Dudunsparce, Farigiraf, Annihilape, Kingambit, Dipplin and Archaludon.

So let's introduce me to the new Pokémon:

* Shrubtank is a Normal/Ice-type Pokémon that is 1,5 meters tall at the shoulder, weighs 120 kilograms and is female only. It has Thick Fat as its ability and evolves from Miltank by giving it a "Shrub Cradle" (an item that was found on the island that it and the other Pokémon lives on). But only when the Miltank has forgotten the move "Rollout". The name comes from "shrubb" and "Miltank".

As the population of Taurus and Miltank exploded on the island, some Miltank started migrating to the southern parts of the island. Which is much colder and snowy than the northern parts. As such, it developed a thick layer of fur, short stocky legs, a short tail and small ears. This allowed it to eat the plants that grow underneath the snow in peace, while also making the permafrost thicker by trampling down the snow into the ground. Something that wasn't possible before since no Pokémon like this lived in this area before Shrubtank appeared. Shrubtank are not the fastest runners, but they can walk through snow without any problems. But due to Taurus not being as abated to the cold, Shrubtanks have been seen migrating north during spring in order to mate. Having a preference for regular Taurus, while the other Miltank-evolutions have been seen breeding with both regular and Paldean Taurus (since both variants live on the island). During the last few days of Matthew's and Colress' exhibition to the island. They arrived at the cold south and discovered a Shrubtank that was grieving over the loss of her sister. They kept a solid distance away from her to not be seen as a threat, but the Shrubtank heard Matthew stepping on a branch. The two humans and the Pokémon stared at each other and a bit later, Colress and Matthew slowly backed away. As the Shrubtank realized that the humans were no threat, she went back to grieving. But in reality, Colress had not really moved away. He activated a camouflage that allowed to become invisible and captured the Shrubtank in secret. After some more studies, he planned to take a herd of Shrubtank and release them on to the north of the mainland Alios. In order to increase biodiversity and prevent the permafrost from melting. So he captured around 24 of them without Matthew knowing. Once Matthew and Colress made it back to the mainland, Colress called the exhibition a success and was praised by Prof. Sanqua (his ancestor) for the effort. Matthew on the other hand, was still seen as a monster for getting Celcie killed (even though the real Celcie had escaped from the house where Niles kept her a prisoner). Matthew wasn't even allowed to relax after the long exhibition and was instantly sent out to study the Pokémon of the Alios-region. But before he would leave, Colress gifted him the grieving Shrubtank that he had captured and flew to the north on his Corviknight to release the rest. Matthew was too tired and too annoyed to even realize what Colress had been doing.

What do you think of Shrubtank?
