Personality

Razor shares a lot of aspects of Saturn's personality, including unstable determination and strong sense of justice. However, unlike Saturn, his version of snappy attidute is displayed whenever something happens to team SLAT, especially Saturn. Since Razor takes his role as his soul-partner and a sort off ''living husk'' (for when Saturn nearly died and needed to regenerate with Razor´s aura during Volume 4) very seriously, he acts like a noble warrior more than one would expect.

Razor is in normal circumstances a fair team player, however when left alone, he's not really good at finding his way around since he's pretty much just an animal and Saturn is the only one who can understand what Razor says. Which got him into plenty of embarrassing goofs over his time at Beacon with Saturn. On occasion he has also displayed a quirky and kind of twisted sense of humour.

And he can feel very accomplished when Saturn is happy with doing something (such as when he offered Ruby to teach her to dance during the ball at Beacon and even gave Yang a death-glare when she started to assume things), which shows, that he cares about Saturn like a brother.

During a journey to Mistral, Razor tried his best to stand out for Saturn until he regenerated and gain much more experience on his own.

Time-skip

The Fall of Beacon was a really overturning experience not only for Saturn, but also for Razor. After what happened causing Saturn to be handicapped, Razor greatly hated himself for letting the cause that was meant for him slip away so much. So during Volume 4, he aided Ruby and others at so many encounters (including the Geist Grimm and in an assault by Tyrian).

During Volume 5, Razor was provided with much more focused training by Marshal's partner dragon Pyros, which proved very useful in also strengthening his bond with Saturn. And as a result, he had a very little trouble keeping up in battle against Salem's followers.

During Volume 6 he displayed a great deal of independent thinking, when it came to dealing with various issues. But made him kind of afraid, what he's probably capable of, considering the discovery through Jinn's vision, that his species were granted their existence by the Gods themselves.

During Volume 7, after getting caught by Ace Ops in Mantel and accidentally swallowing his own fire breath while being muffled up, he for some reason started getting exhausted more often and he feared he'll end up useless. But he was going through a phase of maturity for Flare Dragons and in the end got a bit bigger and stronger.
