Description
The Celtiberians settled in pre-Roman Iberia, fighting with the armies of Carthage and themselves against Roman expansion into Iberia. The warrior I have depicted is based on what I understood of them (and simplified), bearing in mind to include the various Celtic influence on their bodily decorations and armor. Women fought alongside men as per the Celtic tribes. Her sword is the falcata, a short curved sword that could deliver blows as if it were an axe, able to cut through a Legionnaire's shield.Credits
