There's probably a stamp for this already. If not, then I'm disappointed.I'm agnostic leaning atheist, but even I'm offended when a dumbass goes off on christians/catholics/etc. being stupid to look cool when usually their main reason for hating religion is that they'd rather sit on their asses at home going through chan boards than take a measly hour of Sunday service.

I'm catholic, but thank you for making this stamp ^^ I agree that it is stupid to hate for no reason and it does not make you cool. I respect anyone and I don't really care what religion people are or if they have one as long as they think like you and don't hate cause it's cool.

But no, seriously, good fucking lord do I agree. I'm not exactly a fan of having Religion shoved down my mouth and being told I'm going to burn in hell for not comforming to this faith or that, but if thats what they want to believe in, then thats fine, and I'm not a fan of people hanging outside of places of worship waving around signs that say something to the effect of 'LOL ATHEISM PROUD TO BE RIGHT' like a cocky fuck. It's not like they're physically hurting somebody everytime they pray or some shit, and no matter what anyone ever says, it is im-fucking-possible to prove who's view is ultimately right. Unitl you're dead, at any rate, but thats besides the point.
This is why it would be ever so nice if everyone calmed the fuck down and had a community-wide underwear unbunching.

My stamp "don't preach to me" was from an episode where my Aunt who pushed "You're going to be all alone and burn in hell if you don't believe what I do" into me.
I think religion should just be something everyone shouldn't get so fussy over. Why can't it just be people believe what they were BROUGHT UP and based there existence on?

I think a lot of kids think atheism is cool because it's fun to talk back to braggarts, and they misconstrue one saying they are happy with their religion and openly believe in it as bragging about it. but that's only the case some of the time. if these wanna-be badasses think atheism is about rebelling, then they indeed have it wrong and should take up satanism instead, which would actually fit
the fact that you feel as you do, yet are leaning toward atheism yourself, is very refreshing. the sign of a decent person, in the very least. there's another common fuck-up, "all atheists are douchebags." only true most of the time, not all of it : P if anything, people like me are the douche bags; those of us who already have beliefs but still play devil's advocate with everyone in religious debates.

I think that a majority of people in the world can't tell the difference between 'Religion' and 'Religious Zealots'.
I'm fine with people having whatever religion they want, as long as they're not preaching hate at people and/or trying to shove it down other people's throats. So, I dislike religious zealots.
Religions are usually interesting to read about though.

We're both agnostic leaning atheist, and I probably have been kind of bitter towards one certain religion, but when you read a book that tells you it's ok for people to be tortured forever out of religious context, you kinda just do a double take and go "wat." Of course, any religious text is open to interpretation.
I assure you I don't think I'm being cool, I'm just viewing this through sensible eyes, and as long as there are people out there who think it's okay for others to be tortured forever.. uh... e_e;
This stamp is ironic because I woke up and my mom was gone, and when she came back I realized she had gone to church and I guess I overslept and missed it.

Ha ha. But seriously, it's stupid to feel you have to bash someone else's beliefs to show your own are ok. A true Atheist/Christian/Jew/Bhuddist/Pagan/etc. would not feel the need to shun another belief away just to prove their own is ok. To me, I can't help but suspect it's a sign of insecurity and doubt.

Sunday service over in MN is over an hour, and even then, I'm not religious enough to dedicate myself to being saved by Jesus. If anything, I would be Jewish.
That said, this is disappoint only because the people that rant about how much religion sucks are usually only laying claims to atheism to look cool when they don't even know what atheism (or any other religion for that matter) means.
Goddamn, kids. Do your research at least.
