ITS DONE!!!started this one monday and then went crazy tonight and just sat here finishing it off the past four hours

When i was six, my family and I went to the hospital on Valentines day to tell my Grandfather we loved him. We brought balloons and everything. Unfortunately, as soon as we got there, my Dad received a phone call telling us Grandfather had died in his sleep.
On the way home, my sister and I went outside and released all the balloons so that Grandfather could see them from heaven.
This piece reminds me of that day.

It's beautiful and sad at the same time. The pink balloon being sort of Mickey-Mouse head shaped, reminds me of childhood happiness and times when everything was simple, care-free.
I really like this one and the robot piece.

Aww.. that's really pretty. Such a nice, and sad concept. There's something about the almost... disgusting amounts of sadness in a dystopian world that draws me in. This captures the innocence of the child in a broken world nicely. I love this!
