I havent posted anything since september...university is indeed a harsh mistress
but i love it
im most happy with how the sky and water turned out, i dont use references so i just keep drawing until i feel it looks right
havent got the strength to type much more...ill let the work speak for itself.

Extremely beautiful and breathtaking, and needs no explanation to discover its true meaning, as you said when you first shared your creation, but yet it causes the observer to discover many more imaginative things after looking at it for a longer time, since the picture is tumultuous and heartbreaking by what it seems might have happened, but yet it is still full of beauty and hope.
I am only sad that I did not discover this before now since it has touched me in so many profound ways. I simply love it and thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us fans. π

I don't know if this is based off specific characters, but...As a New Orleans native, this scene is so moving, as it makes me think about my home city being lost to rising water in the near future. I can put myself in the scene, attempting to show my child where I'm from and just seeing water covering everything.
