Heres the Halo piece ive being promising for so longthis is actually the second attempt, the first was an outdoor scene, it almost got finished but i couldnt stand the sight of it any longer...so i started again.
the quick story behind this
The covenent have captured hundreds of human soldiers and are currently keeping them in cold storage to use as hosts so that biological deseases can gestate within their bodies. they are then released back onto the human worlds with no memory of the events, and act as walking plagues.
The master chiefe and his men are hoping to put a stop to all of this.

Everything but the Chief's extended leg looks stunning. I can see the effect you were going for with the leg but it just looks over sized. The rest is phenomenal.

nice dude i would love to learn how to do stuff like that (lighting and such, fade away and textures) though everything good has its bad in my opinion they are too thick cause foreshortening doesnt exaggerate that much so they kinda look like gears of war characters. Also the covenant want to destroy the flood not spread it (i pay attention to the game) *stupified* the aliens dont want to make more zombies they want to kill them.

I know this is six years old already, but I must say... the lighting is wonderful, the colour scheme works perfectly and the angle of the camera emphasises the greatness of the storage. I can almost feel the cold when I look at it!

It's easily my favorite from your gallery, so may I ask if you know any other Halo fanart that was done much earlier than yours?
Some have pulled it off right after Halo 1's premier release, but I want to know those people who have done such fanart a long time ago.
