He had met Angel in his youth, the 'boy' was 5 at the time, and it was months before his aunt had passed from a stroke. Angel has no recollection of such memories due to how young he was, thus finds it weird and irritating that Antoine had developed a habit of hanging around him, as well as treating him like a kid. He often 'steals' the spotlight from him, claiming he's just protecting him. Recently he has decided to transfer over to Rome with the boy and has been there for a couple weeks now. Luckily for Angel the italian women have provided a good distraction for Antoine.

Antoine is not a good italian speaker, his words are often broken and he messes up phrases, very often he will switch over to speaking french without realizing. Regardless of the language barrier he is liking Rome very much.
