Just some reminiscing on my memories of Super Mario RPG... wanted to make something print-worthy of an SMRPG nature, so why not an utter nostalgia bomb?Also gave me a reason to master the use of blues in printing. ...Still not quite there yet.

You know, this is simple. But surprising effective.
I can almost hear all the individuals voices whispering each wish in the distance, as Geno walks along. An then suddenly one louder "I wish Geno would come back", causes him to pause as it echoes off into the silence.
It gives some pretty profound emotion to what was a fairly small part of the original adventure. Plus it really resonates with the fans of Geno who have long waited for his triumphant return for nearly 20 years now.
I like this, I think I'll favorite it. Awesome job.

This is beautiful. I like the melancholy mood. Geno was one of my favorite Mario characters. I keep holding out hope they will put him and Mallow in the new Super Smash Bros game.

Oh wow... this seriously made me tear up a little. How Geno is someone who protects and upholds the realm of wishes, and how all his fans wish he would return, is just a concept that makes me happy to be a Geno fan.
Those other wishes around him don't help me feel better about dragging him out of the wishing realm. ;_;

Hi. Just thought I'd leave a comment, because I'm about ready to favorite this thing.
I'm actually not much of a Geno fan. Geno's a cool character, but it not like I'm clamoring to see him in another game. It's actually the melancholy-yet-hopeful wish motif and the starry background that sells it for me.
Of course, something that I've been wondering...what would a game based around Geno, not Mario, be like? It's an interesting thought.

So, Geno would be in a shooter? That's the part that hangs me up. Despite what some of the die-hard Geno fans seem to think, I don't recall Geno having a hardcore, kick-in-your-teeth kind of personality. Geno was only fighting to restore Star Road, and outside of battle, he was usually polite. Geno always struck me as being friendly and personable. Y'know, the kind of guy who'd get you a root beer while waiting for your wife to give birth, or something like that.
What kind of game would suit someone like that?
