Finally finished this pictureKind of an idea I had of the sombra war turning into a drawn out war that eventually leads to advances in technology as both sides fall into a stalemate
A LOT of experimenting with this picture, never used these color pallets, haven't drawn tanks much, or drawn fire with explosions much so it was quite the new experience
Hopefully it looks alright, I know of like how some of the smaller details turned out
EDIT:not sure if it's DA's servers but nobody can see this image unless you zoom in, guess we'll have to see if something changes later :/

That tank is quite accurate as a model 1 with the long guns. One thing though is that the WW1 tanks did not have a cupola and so you couldn't stick your head out to see. Also nobody ever wanted to be on the outside of the tank in battle as they were massive magnets for artillery.

Well all the prep beforehand is, gotta guess what merch people want and how much money to sink into printing
But the actual con it's self is pretty crazy, pretty much everyone from around the world shows up to it. So there's upsides to going to a large con and downsides
Lots to do, but there's also MASSIVE lines to the major things
But I've never talked to someone who's gone and hasn't enjoyed it

oh it's suppose to be based off the Mk4, mostly cuz that was the most mass produced version
But pretty much the only really noticeable difference from each type is that the Mk1 had the wheels on the back and the rest didn't

"Forward!" Captain Pinkie Pie yells, her voice barely audible over the shrill whistle of the shells, the explosions, and the loud hum and clunking of the engines. Her tank, 113 "Ace of Spades" advances steadily under the expert touch of her driver even as the large caliber guns on her sides do their best to topple her with each loud explosive shot.
"It's getting messy in that direction, Cap!" The earth pony at the controls yells, his voice rough from the engine fumes and the smoke. "Perhaps we should find another way to the rally?"
"No!" Pinkie shouts, popping back down into the inside of the tank. "We can't stop now, the infantry is counting on us to spearhead this attack."
"I know, Cap," The earth pony, who is tan and white painted horse under the mud and grime. "But Sombra's artillery is getting heavier, and as tough as this ol' gal is, we're running the risk of becoming a target."
"I don't care, my sister and Dash are out there," Pinkie growls, silencing the next protest from the driver. Turning to her gunners, she nods to a pegasus who had lost a wing like Dash. "Private Sky," she looks to a unicorn who is pulling a shell from the rack, "Corporal Shard. Point the guns forward, we're going to break through the advance if it kills us."
"I hope it doesn't kill us!" Shard replies, her voice low for a mare as she rolls her cigarette from one side of her mouth to the other. It's thankfully unlit. "I've got a poker game to get to once we take this town!"
"Y-Yeah," Sky chuckles nervoisly, her single wing fluttering in unease. "And I kinda want to see my ma again..."
"We'll make it, ladies," Pinkie says gently before turning to the driver. "Full steam ahead, Lieutenant." She then grabs her rifle from where she had stowed it. "I'm going back up, lets show Sombra just what Equestrian Steel can do!"Β

Honestly, I am tempted to write one.
Perhaps when I am done with my current comission I can write it as a cool-down fic before I dive back into the main storyline I am writing in my major stories.

In photoshop you have a histogram under Window. If you add a "Curves" adjustment layer you also have a histogram in the background.

That tank looks like pretty well protected, I'm going to say this battle is resembling the war against King Sombra
