Better late than never—like 7 or 8 years late. I wrote a tutorial on how to make those buttons featured in this Deviation of mine: but never got around to publishing it. Well, I did—on the website that used those buttons but I never actually made one for DeviantArt. So, here ya go. There is also a starter kit that I'm offering as Premium Content that includes the reflections and styles as Photoshop assets. This also includes a PSD that shows what reflections go where, what gradients to use, and the type of layer blend mode to use for the reflection.
