I used to be more driven by fully rendered, soft lightning, like those video game art, Final Fantasy style and such.
But lately for some reason I feel like doing more hard edged shading (cell shading)...

Cel shading is very dramatic and immediate. Its a different look from doing painted rendering but its honestly more fun to draw, I think.
