Description Obligatory kisses in a park. I feel like 90% of the roughly 1000 pictures we got are of us kissing, I swear.

I love the photos you showed me. None of them make me go "Ew!" from being too cheesy, they're all really beautiful.

Love the dress, and I'm never big on wedding dresses. Where did you guys hold the wedding itself, outside?

Thanks!
We had the wedding and the reception at a local hotel. The ballroom was oh, so fancy, so I barely had to do any decorating. In fact, all I did was set up the center pieces on the tables. The room had this enormous crystal chandelier, and little crystal lights everywhere.

But after the ceremony in the morning the staff needed to tear everything down and reset for dinner, so our photographer herded us out to a nearby park for pictures. It was a little cold and windy, and my sunglasses kicked in, so some of them are a little weird. But it was fun. We have this silly picture of everyone jumping, and the boys pretending to kung fu fight.

Sorry I lost my internets for the last few days

Nice I have no idea what my dream location would be or what I'd do decoration-wise, I guess it's mostly like... Table dressings and invitations I'd focus on. Especially invitations, I'd do them all by hand.

Nice. I like some silly photos when they're not too cheesy, like I'm tired of seeing your typical LOLOLOL BRIDE IS IN CONTROL NOT THE MAN photos where she's like dragging him by the tie or something. I was at Bulk Barn yesterday and they had a section of wedding cake toppers, and ALL of them were Bride-Dominant toppers with the husband being dragged or trying to escape in some way

We had a friend print our invites, but I had someone on dA do the picture I put on them. Our center pieces were little glass jars filled with marbles and water, with a little tea lights floating in them. And tiny bubble blowers. The whole huge ballroom was full of bubbles, it was AWESOME.

Oh, I know what you mean. And those pictures where the groom is standing far away and the bride is near, and it looks like she's holding him in her hand. I hate those pictures, they're so lame.

Nice. I remember I was looking for an automatic bubble blower to get my dog who has a bubble problem, and saw so many fancy wedding bubble blowers. I had no idea.

Yeah, it's like, I get it. We're in a great new time where women aren't objects! But I don't need the role reversal/manbitch thing, that's what I watch lame sitcoms for.

Plus now I'm even more turned off because an (ex) friend of mine did a photoshoot like that for prom. Seriously, her dress looked like a light pink wedding gown and I'm sure I could convince anyone they were from an actual wedding, the most misleading part is how young the "groom" looks.

And in my books there's just so many things wrong about scouting out a location and hiring a professional for prom photos outside of the actual prom.

My grad dress looked like a wedding dress since it was a very, very pale blue. But I didn't have a date, and mostly I didn't wear it much. I called it my Cinderella dress and got myself some clear plastic shoes. xD

Nice. One of my friends had a "Beauty and the Beast" dress and we were skeptical/scared but it actually was a nice yellow dress that looked decent on her.

Mine was a fun black polkadotted number that cost $50 And my "date" was just my best friend, who almost missed the boat (it was on a boat) because she was filming a movie, I think Beastly or Funkytown, that day. But it worked out hilariously because they filmed a prom scene and they did her hair and makeup But then her science teacher thought we were totally gay for each other and it was awkward.

The friend I was telling you about with the wedding-style photos spent $600 on hers, which was on sale, and wouldn't shut up about the SIXTEEN LAYERS OF FABRIC!!! the bottom half had.

My grad dress was really expensive, but in my defense, I never thought I would get married.

Also i'm an only child so mom spoiled me a little. My grad dress and accessories came from a bridal shop. I ended up re-using the crystal headband/tiara thing and some other stuff for the wedding anyway. I keep everything.

My best friend bought a cheap dress and then sewed folds and beads on it herself, so the result was a dress that looked like it cost ten times as much as it did. It was really neat.
