I remember the first time I sat down to play Portal 2 and got a little ways into it that I noticed that Wheatley and our old friend Guilty Spark from the Halo series, though having near polar opposite personalities, looked alike as well as having been placed in similar circumstances. Both are AI driven machines created to make sure their facilities run without a hitch only to have it all ruined by a flawed life form mucking about. And then with the way *spoiler alert!* that Portal 2 ended with Wheatley and Space Core actually being thrown into space */spoiler alert!*, I felt this was a perfect meeting place for the two to talk it out and console each others misfortune.Related content

Yeah, probably, though it's my guess that Wheatley just sorta hung out in space floating around until they bumped into each other. *shrugs*
