Description I'm certain some of you out there know, but yes, there is was a Sonic the Hedgehog anime before Sonic X. This very concept intrigued Sir and so the point where we all sat down to actually watch the thing. It's pretty ridiculous, as most anime based on video games are, but still has some charm to it and good for an unintentional laugh or two. Though after having watched it again, I can't help but feel the story was the prototype for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 game. Anyone else get that vibe?

It's pretty old now a days, I know A.D. Vision had the rights to it and re-released it in 2004 but now that the business went under, I don't know where you would go to find it, though it wouldn't surprise me if it's on some video website somewhere.

Haha! I never saw the Anime, though I bet you're correct. XP Sonic has become increasingly... Erm... Weird? And I LOOOOOOOVED the game when I was a kid. Its weird how it morphed over the years. >.<;

Yeah, but the funny part (or strange part?) is that this anime came out around the time of Sonic's hay day. It's animated by the same studio that animated the cut scenes from Sonic CD
