Dear Argodaemon,

the lens flare works just fine in the timeline, but when I render my animation, it doesn't appear.
1. I tried Movie and Image Sequence rendering, none of them worked.
2. I reinstalled the files, but it still doesn't work.

Would you help me, if you mind me asking.

Nevermind, it works in every other session except, the one I'm currently working. Great!

I don't suppose it's possible to legit rotate the particle so we can have multiple lens flares rotated in different directions for a sun?

I plan to use this for the firing of the halo array... just one thing... usermod doesnt seem to work and I put the pcf file where it should be in the workshop folder just where the actual hell do I put the materials folder?

The link is that used for downloading pictures and such right from DeviantArt. There is no link in the description. It will be on the right sidebar.

This is incredible, I've been using this for a long while, and it has ended up in nearly every pose that has any visible light source in the background. Thank you so much for this.

The materials folder has those textures. Take the materials folder and put it in your usermod.

I really like this effect in SFM, especially with it doing a sort of fade in effect. Do you know how to get it to do a fade out? Currently when you have the particle set to end at a certain point, it just ends. With the fade out effect this can be used for effects such as a Star trek warp flash effect or transporter effect.

If you keep the Lifetime of the particle higher then the Emission Duration, they will naturally fade away.

Hey figured it out! sorry to bug you. In case someone asks how to do this, tell them to instance the particle, view it in the element viewer, and then create an animation set for radius random!

I like it! Although it seems to get dimmer the closer you move the camera to the particle.

As nice as lensflares are, I hope people won't go full JJ Abrams with them.

Definitely going to play around with them and see what can be done. Do they artifact when rendered?
