My submission for 's gender-bending Pink Mushroom Mario contest. The point is to draw a Mario character interpreted to look as they would after eating a pink mushroom that changes their gender. As soon as I heard the idea, I immediately thought two things: one was "Shyguys would be so hawt drawn right with boobies... but what gender are they, really?" and the other was "Big black woman Bowser." I told my friend about the Bowser idea for the contest (she's entered, as well), and she said that she had the same idea, but when I told her that I was gonna do a Queen Latifah in Chicago basis for what he looks like, she conceded that it would work better that way, and used the totally sexy shyguy idea, along with a totally sexy Boo in the same picture.

The costume is based entirely on Momma's from Latifah's song in Chicago, with slight modifications to make it work, and more Bowser-like. The end result is... a little disturbing, but fun. It was scanned without inking it, then colored on the computer in Photoshop. Wheee I did it all in 3 days, and haven't slept much!
