I tried drawing Yue from CardCaptor Sakura for the monthly Patreon fanart doodle!
Because those doodles are 1 stream, I promised to mostly make headshots... But lately I've been stretching it a bit too much, and this time I reaaaaaally overstretched xD
(Also kinda because we had way too much fun on stream with things OTHER than drawing xD)
I streamed an hour extra so this became 4hrs. Adding the simple BG actually made everything look much nicer, and I did a bit of a light experiment I think was ineteresting, but the body and mostly the face I don't really like. -.- (before starting I was quite convinced I could do the face well, because I sued to draw a lot of CLAMP things, but now it's the worst part xD)
...i need to go back to only busts I think xD
...but that's just less fun QxQ
I still learned some valuable lessons, but I hope I can make something prettier next time
...If you look from far away it look pretty nice tho, somehow. The effect of nicer lighting are pretty out there xD
