Elves are on the verge of extinction due to vampires hunting them and feasting on their blood. Due to her parent's constant fear of vampires, Aria was locked inside her room for centuries, while her older brother went to study in a boarding school to become a vampire hunter. Her elf features were also sealed away by her mother's magic so no one could track her down, until she was able to finally unleash them. One day as she was turning 2,000 years old, Aria read the story of Rapunzel from one of her many books. Feeling very motivated and moved by it, she decided to run away and finally see the world with her two eyes. Aria then crossed paths with the Sakamaki brothers, and of course got trapped with them. The brothers wanted to keep her alive for as long as possible. It’s not everyday that they get to drink a half elf’s blood, after all. As time pass, the abuse becomes more tolerable and Aria started seeing the brothers as friends. She becomes remarkably close to Kanato and Subaru. Considering Subaru as an older brother, and developing a deeper bond with Kanato to the point of becoming lovers.
