Well, Legolas didn't get his nose from his mom (or grandma? Is it Oropher's Queen or Thranduil's?), though she is quite pretty and I love her hair.

It's Thranduil's Queen. I tried to copy Legolas' hairstyle on her, but it doesn't show since it got covered by the flowers. Thank you for liking; I will do better next time.

Ah, now that you've pointed it out, I can see how it looks like Legolas'. It is really pretty, of course I had to appreciate it! And you don't have to 'do better next time', there's always the space to improve your art (believe me, I know), but really, aside from her nose (I'm picky with noses, its probably nothing), I don't really see how this could change and be improved. Unless, you know, you were a master of Realism and then, well, it'd be pretty in realistic fashion and...

Ahahahaha! Yes, you see, I'm still improving. My art style is more of anime, but now I want semi-realism. I actually just started realism a few months back.
I want to design Legolas' mother more and give her a name since I know I will be doing more and more fan arts of her.

I always called her Calithil, if that's any inspiration in the name department. At least I think it was Calithil, I've lost my notes.
Really? I've been trying to adapt between an anime/semicartoon realism style. Unfortunately, all that work is in my sketch book, I haven't put any of it up yet. I'm still struggling with scaling and expressions.

Even as a fan of the books, I still have no idea how to name her.
I just made a new fan art of Thranduil and his queen saying goodbye to a newborn Legolas. It's still a WIP though XD.
After finishing that, I will post a design of the Queen's armor and weapons as well.
